The shop
Deluxe Paint Protection runs a single storefront bay in Chantilly, Virginia, protecting cars for drivers across Loudoun and Fairfax counties. It specializes in paint protection film and ceramic coating, and also does paint correction and window tint.
It's the kind of shop most of our clients are: excellent work, a loyal local following, and an owner who's good at the job. Their site now shows a 5.0 rating from more than 270 Google reviews.
Where they started: $5,000 a month
Deluxe came to us at $5,000 a month, the very bottom of the range we take on. At that stage the owner is usually doing the installs, the quotes and the messages, and the next booking depends on who happens to call.
PPF and ceramic coating are high-ticket, considered purchases. Buyers compare shops, want to see real work and want to know the price before they visit. A shop at this size rarely has a way to show all of that before the phone rings.
What we built
We built Deluxe a website designed to sell protection before the first call: a page for every service, a page for every town they serve, a pricing page, and a library of guides answering the questions PPF and coating buyers ask.
- A page for every service. PPF, ceramic coating, paint correction, window tint, plus dedicated pages for Tesla owners and new-car protection.
- A page for every town. Chantilly, Ashburn, Leesburg, Sterling, South Riding, Fairfax and Loudoun County each get their own page, so the shop shows up where its customers actually search.
- Prices before the call. A pricing page lays out packages so buyers arrive having already accepted the number.
- Answers to real questions. Twelve guides, from "Is PPF worth it?" to "How much does ceramic coating cost in Virginia?" and what road salt does to paint.
- A quote picker on the homepage that asks what the customer needs, PPF, coating, tint or correction, before anything else.
Where they are now: $85,000 a month
Deluxe Paint Protection now does $85,000 a month from the same single location, with three installers. That's 17 times where they started.
The shop didn't need more bays to get there. It needed a steady stream of buyers who already knew what they wanted and what it cost.
What other shops can take from it
- Show your prices. A pricing page filters out bargain hunters and gives serious buyers the confidence to book.
- Give every town you serve its own page. People search for the job plus where they live.
- Answer the questions buyers ask before they buy. Each guide is another way to be found, and another reason to trust you.
